Molly Ward, CFP®, CDFA® is the Founder of Well Lived Wealth, LLC and has over 25 years of professional experience. A Texas native, Ms. Ward earned her Certified Financial Planner® professional designation and built a wealth management firm before she had her first child at age 26. Since then, she has acquired a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation, earned the Financial Advisor’s Columbia Coaching Certificate, received Collaborative Divorce Training and participated in financial programs at Harvard and Wharton Business Schools. She was named one of five advisors (and the only woman) to Equitable’s Elite Advisor Group Steering Committee out of 5,000 of her peers. She is a former Associate’s Roundtable Chair of the James A. Baker III Institute at Rice University, a former Board Member of her local library and has held numerous PTO positions. Molly is currently a Member of the Investment Committee at the St. Luke’s Foundation, a Member of the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council and a Board Member of Fort Worth’s Lone Oak Trust Company. In 2025, Molly was ranked 39th amongst all Equitable Advisors (roughly 4,000) and was listed on the Forbes 2025 Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State.
Ms. Ward can now see those early days of building a practice were fueled by a tiny, internal whisper that one day she would need to manage her money for the sake of her own independence and her children. If there is one thing Molly would like to leave in this world (aside from three wonderful children), it is to help women live up to their financial potential. This is a mission rooted in a lifetime of experiences, and one that influences her work, family life, and contributions in her community.
When Ms. Ward is not helping clients take control of their lives through financial management, you can find her watching her 17-year-old son play baseball, late evening dog walking with one of her young adult daughters, paddle-boarding on gorgeous Texas Hill Country rivers, enjoying volunteering, amateur birding, or hosting Friday Fajitas parties. Her fitness obsession has taken her on Olympic-distance triathlons, hikes above 14,000 feet, and 100-mile bike races.
